Happy 13th Anniversary!
It has been an incredible journey since our doors opened February 3, 1997.
We are indebted to our outstanding board members, generous donors, supportive parents and teachers, and steadfast students for all they have contributed to the Center's achievements.
Partnering with parents, schools, and the community to help kids succeed in school.
Our services include Assessment, Academic Intervention, and Individual Support that:
• Build academic skills in reading, writing, and math
• Improve study skills and organization
• Address social and emotional needs
• Educate students, families, and teachers about learning disabilities
We continue to provide one-on-one evaluation and academic intervention for individuals with learning differences at offices in Boise, Caldwell, Hailey, and Ketchum. We partner with schools to provide special academic intervention programs for children who are at risk of educational failure. We also offer workshops and on-site coaching for teachers, helping them with students with learning challenges.
Through the Center's Early Literacy Project, we offer training at no cost to child care providers. This project prepares child care providers to foster early literacy among Idaho pre-school children.
Through the Center's College Aspirations Program, we collaborate with schools in Caldwell and the Wood River Valley, to support the educational success and college aspirations of students from low income circumstances.
Lee Pesky Learning Center is a nonprofit organization that relies on the support and generosity of our many friends. We are grateful to all those who help us serve individuals facing obstacles to learning and educational success.
