Self-regulated learners are connected, self-aware, self-determined, strategic and resilient. Our five-component model of self-regulation is unique in its scope and direct application to learning. Learn more about these five components – watch the video on the right.
Our approach to self-regulated learning relies on a set of low-lift strategies that are integrated within the learning environment – to help students become independent, resilient learners.
In addition to developing self-regulation skills among our students, we are working to add to the research literature by utilizing a tool to measure self-determination. Our research analyzes reliability, validity, and longitudinal changes across intervention students’ scores.
