During 2008-2009 school year, our partnerships with school districts and individual schools included Jerome, Blaine County, Basin County, Pocatello, Bonneville, West Bonner, St. Maries, Boise, Nampa, Glenns Ferry, Payette, and Snake River school districts. School-based projects included Taft Elementary and Whitney Elementary which provided on-going support to teachers.

The Center was instrumental in designing and delivering Idaho’s Comprehensive Literacy Standards for teachers and the Open Book Initiative. The Idaho Early Literacy Project is the newest statewide initiative. Also, during 2008-2009, the Center co-sponsored three national on-line Response to Intervention (RTI) forums with the National Center for Learning Disabilities.
